Police reveal what was found in Liam Payne’s hotel room

Liam, a former member of the globally renowned boy band One Direction, tragically fell to his death on October 16, 2024. He was staying at the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, where the fatal accident occurred around 5:00 PM. According to reports, Liam fell from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room, and the police were called shortly after the fall.

The hotel manager alerted authorities that a man had fallen from his balcony, and investigations quickly began. As officials examined the scene, they discovered several troubling details in Payne’s hotel room. The room was reportedly in a state of total disarray, with multiple items smashed and medications scattered around. Among the substances found were alcohol and medicines, including clonazepam, a drug commonly used to treat epilepsy, muscle spasms, and panic disorders.

In addition to these findings, officials retrieved fingerprints from the room to help further their investigation. Payne’s body was discovered in the hotel’s courtyard, with a bottle of whiskey, a lighter, and a mobile phone found nearby. These items added to the grim picture of what might have been happening in the hours leading up to the accident.

According to Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti, medical teams couldn’t save the former One Direction crooner due to his severe injuries.

Payne died instantly after his fall due to multiple injuries, including a fractured skull . Alberto Crescenti shared that his team got to the scene as fast as possible to give him medical attention and resuscitate him but they couldn’t as he had died due to the severity of his state.

“Based on what the team saw, there was apparently a cranial fracture and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death,” he explained .

Crescenti confirmed that Liam Payne had fallen into the hotel’s internal patio but did not address claims regarding his possible intoxication or drug use. He emphasized that authorities were still waiting for the autopsy results and advised against making premature conclusions.
